Here is the best natural way to remove rust from metal
I am going to share a very interesting way to remove rust (naturally) from your metal tools (rusty metal tools).
Best thing is: the ingredient necessary for the whole process is already available at your home.
Here is the list of ingredients:
- Chemical ingredients
- Baking soda
- Coconut oil
- Rusted tools
- Paper towels
- Hair dryer
Here is the whole process:
- Soak your rusted tools in vinegar for 3 hours, then clean or brighten the surface of the tools by scrubbing with a toothbrush
- Now soak the cleaned items in a solution of baking soda and water (at 1:2 ratio, baking soda 1, water 2). The soaking period will be for five minutes.
- Now rinse the tools in water. Dry immediately after the rinse process with paper towels. You can use a hair dryer for any tight spaces.
- This is an optional step: You can coat the cleaned tools with coconut oil to prevent further rusting.

I learned this process from Buzzfeed’s this article.
